In order to help you pass CCIE certification([Here]), SPOTO provides you with ten suggestions for the rather difficult Lab exam.

  1. Read the questions carefully and completely

It is very important to read the exam questions carefully and completely before you answer the questions, and then carefully check all the pre-configured IP addresses. Don't ignore any details and parts of the topic.

  1. Distribute your time rationally.

Before you begin to answer the questions, make an overall plan on time allocation, which should include how much time you will spend in each part. Don't forget to follow this schedule when you answer the questions. When making a time plan, don't forget to include the time you need to finally check your answers.

  1. Clearly know the requirements of each question

Don't assume the existence of a false requirement which the question doesn't have. If you have any doubts about the exam requirements during the exam, it is wise to communicate your doubts with the examiner.

  1. Take each question as a unit

When you finish answering this question and are about to do the next one, it is important to check and verify your answer. Similarly, you should redraw a topology more suitable for you to complete the exam according to the topology provided to you by the paper. It will help you better understand the structure of the network.

  1. Troubleshooting

You must know how to use the appropriate tools for troubleshooting in order to obtain CCIE certificate. Although troubleshooting is very important, don't spend too much time on this job (especially those with only two or three points and won't affect other topics). If you encounter a very strange problem, don't spend too much energy on this problem. It's better to finish those familiar and easy questions first, and then go back and finish those unfamiliar questions.

  1. Prepare a list for your exam

During the exam, take some notes for some of your key configurations, which can help you better complete the experiment. This list should also record the following information: those tasks you haven't finished in time, those tasks you're unfamiliar with and are not sure about whether your answers are right and wrong, and those tasks you're sure whether there would be problems.

  1. Check the tasks you have completed

Never trust a command that you configured hours ago. Because any command you configure later may invalidate your previous configuration. Realize that configuration is always just configuration, and only verified configuration is effective.

  1. Remember to save your configuration often
  1. Do not change the configuration easily

When there is only about half an hour left in the exam, don't easily change your configuration.

  1. Speed is a vital issue for exams

So one week before your exam, it's best to fully review the core teaching materials of CCIE certification courses, so that you can skillfully use the configuration to complete those simple and frequent problems.
